Goals & Outcomes

In the beginning of the semester, I set a few goals for myself to follow in order to succeed in this class. These goals being, avoiding procrastinating, to turn in all my work, and to ask questions. This was my first time taking an online class so I didn't really know what to expect coming into it. I had been told by many people that as long as I stood on to of my work I would do fine, so I planned on doing so.

Now that the class is pretty much over I can proudly say that I was able to meet my goals. Although I struggled in the beginning with my procrastination, I was able to get myself to do my work immediately once it was assigned. I was also able to complete every assignment except for one, so I'm pretty proud of that. I managed to keep up with all my work and do a pretty good job on it all. The biggest goal I accomplished was being able to speak up and ask questions. I'm a very shy person and tend to never ask for help or even ask questions whenever I'm stuck on something. As the course progressed I realized that I wasn't going to be able to do it all my own, so I managed to build up the courage to ask Professor Aguilar and some of my peers questions whenever I needed to. One of the greatest skills I acquired from this class was overcoming my fear of talking to others.

Not only was I able to accomplish the goals I set for myself, I was also able to gain confidence from this class. I can now show off my work to everyone proudly. I must say,  for being my first online class, it was a really good experience.
